Our therapy sessions are charged at rates consistent with the NDIS Price Guide, ensuring fair and transparent pricing for all families. Session fees include preparation, therapy time, and post-session notes or communication with your child’s care team when required.
Before therapy begins, you’ll receive a personalised Service Agreement outlining all costs and inclusions, so there are never any surprises.

Travel
Because NeuroPlay Therapies is a mobile service, we bring therapy to your home, school, or community setting.
Travel costs are charged in line with NDIS guidelines and will be clearly detailed in your Service Agreement before sessions begin.
We do our best to minimise travel fees by scheduling sessions efficiently and grouping appointments within similar areas whenever possible.
SERVICE PRICING
All supports are billed at in line with the current NDIS pricing arrangements and price limits. Private sessions are available at the same hourly rate, with flexible options for families who wish to self fund therapy supports.

Face to Face Services
Sessions include direct therapy with your child, modelling strategies for families, and collaborative engagement in activities, all tailored to each child’s individual goals. This approach combines therapy, coaching, and guided participation to deliver practical, meaningful outcomes that can be integrated into daily life.
Non Face to Face Services
These may include developing individualised programs, session planning and preparation of resources, reviewing reports or assessments, consultation with educators, families, or other professionals, documenting session notes and monitoring progress against goals.
TRAVEL PRICING
NeuroPlay Therapies provides services across the Cairns Regional area and beyond. Travel arrangements are discussed and agreed upon in advance to ensure transparency and informed decision making.
- Travel (labour): $97.00 per hour for therapy and capacity building supports, in line with current NDIS Pricing Arrangements. This applies to both face to face and reasonable non face to face travel time.
- Travel (Non-labour): $0.99 per km for travel to and from sessions, in accordance with NDIS guidelines. This is charged in addition to the travel hourly rate.
Allowable Travel Time
- Up to 30 minutes each way for MMM 1–3 locations (city and regional areas)
- Up to 60 minutes each way for MMM 4–5 locations (rural or remote areas)
- For MMM 6–7 locations (very remote or isolated), travel will be discussed and negotiated individually
We aim to keep travel costs low by grouping appointments in similar locations wherever possible.
